As part of efforts to reduce the effect of climate change and also contribute to the restoration of the ecosystem, the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) and Rotary Club of Lagos have collaborated to plant 60 trees to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the humanitarian club. Advises Visitors To Observe COVID-19 Protocols The Lagos State Government has reopened two of its recreational parks for public use after several months of closure due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  The General Manager of Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK), Mrs. Adetoun Popoola, announced the development, saying that necessary arrangements are in place to ensure adherence to the safety protocols prescribed by the State and Federal governments.  Popoola said both parks now available for public use are the Ndubuisi Kanu Park in Alausa and the Dr. Abayomi Finnih Park, Oregun, both in Ikeja, stating that the number of occupants of the parks is restricted to 150 and 100 respectively. “The number of visitors allowed in Nudubuisi Kanu Park is limited to 150 persons while only 100 people will be allowed at Dr. Abayomi Finnih Park in Oregun with strict observance of guidelines including physical distancing, use of face masks, temperature checks…

Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) has announced plans by the Agency to disengage all horticulturists who have consistently failed at keeping their assigned open spaces clean and well-groomed, thus disregarding government directives on keeping a clean and green environment.
